Kay, Contracting Officer 3 EA shall be portable & used by shop personnel to remove fumes from void spaces onboard ship. Fan shall be assembled and ready for use. Applicable documents 29 CFR part 1910-OSHA, NEMA, NFPA 70, NFPA 79 & SSP-SP-10. Fan drive: 25 hp min, 3600 rpm max, be explosion proof, have 1.15 service factor, be 3 phase, 60 cycle, 230/460 volts (wired for 460V); have a NEMA size 3 starter in an explosion proof enclosure with on/off/reset button in cover, mounted & wired, have starter enclosure mounted as to protect on/off/reset buttons from forklift damage. Fan housing shall: be Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) arrangement #4, direct drive, be made of 10 gage steel & be AMCA (type C) spark resistant construction. Fan rotor shall: have airfoil blades continuously welded to wheel backplate and rim, have blades made on min 12 ga high strength steel, have centerplate made with min 1/4" A36 mild steel, have shroud/rim out of min 10 gage A36 spinning & & have cold rolled solid shaft min. Fan performance: Volume ACFM 9,000 at 10" w.c. or 5,000 cfm at 17" w.c., .075 gas density, 70 degrees F temperature, 3600 rpm max speed. Fan shall be AMCA rated for min Class 2 IAW AMCA std 210. Standard designation of direction of rotation & discharge shall be clockwise upblast discharge per AMCA std. Fan shall have AMCA seals. Fan maximum overall dimensions 4' l X 4' h X 7' h.
