This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Racal Recorders Inc., 15375 Berrance Pkwy, Suite H10, Irvine, CA 92718 on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase 12 ea Single System Controller Board p/n 40137-304-10, 16 ea Eprom Upgrade for the single system controller p/n 40159-204-10-BT, and 1 ea of the acceptance test procedure p/n ATP-1.The Racal recorder connects to project unique hardware and executes program specific software to perform calibration and certification of airborne electronics. These upgrade spare boards will ensure all project recorders all recorders can execute this program specific software to perform the mission tasking. The Government intents to negotiate on a sole source basis with Racal Recorders to ensure the capability to manage other imminent and future systems installation, testing and evaluation and still support all present requirements and functions of shipboard systems. Delivery is required to be FOB Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland within 30 days after contract award.
