Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for
power monitors to analyze conditions at 17 transformer locations. The
equipment specifications are as follows; a local 3 Phase power
Monitor/Analyzer with the capability of monitoring Voltage, Current,
Frequency, Power (Real Watts-Reactive Watts-Apparent Power), Power
Factor, %THD (Current-Voltage) Harmmics (Current-Voltage). The system
must have the ability to provide remote monitoring, trending and
alarming. The system must be able to work over a network and with fiber
optics or twisted pair. The equipment at each transformer location must
include power monitor with read outs and computer connection, and
control transformers (CT's) to be installed for the monitors. The
remote monitoring must include interfaces for the network (Fiber
Optic-Twisted Pair-Coax), TCP/IP compatible, Windows 95 compatible with
software for the remote monitor, trends and alarms. No RFQ is
available; however, interested sources may respond by submitting
documentation and literature that clearly demonstrates the capability
to meet this requirement. Responses must reference Synopsis No.
