ACC Contracting Squadron is soliciting bids for Nomex desert flight suits for Air Force personnel deployments. This requirement will be 100% set aside for small businesses. Contractor will furnish plant, labor, equipment, and materials, and perform all operations necessary to provide an estimated 2400 nomex, khaki colored, desert flight suits for ACC Air Force personnel, per year. Flight suit specifications will be included in the solicitation which will be issued on or about 06 June 1997 via the Internet. The Government s intent is to establish a firm fixed-price requirements contract for these flight suits for a period of one basic year and four one-year options, with period of performance estimated to begin 01 Oct 97 and ending 30 Sep 02. Bidders will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation (and any amendments) from the ACC CONS Bulletin Board on the INTERNET. It is the bidder s responsibility to monitor the Internet for the solicitation release. The solicitation will be released as soon as practicable, whether prior or subsequent to the projected 06 Jun 97 date.
