Hardee, Contracting Officer (919) 541-0419 The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) seeks protocol and laboratory support services to include but not limited to providing guidance and assistance with protocol development, managing protocol data sets and patient records required per protocol including pedigree data, consent documents and medical records, subject ascertainment, enrollment, verification of clinical phenotype, assessment of counseling needs, DNA extraction, and genotyping. The Government estimates the following level of effort: laboratory support biologist 10%; nurse geneticist 240%; genetic counselor/senior nurse geneticist 100%; data manager 100%, data entry 100%; and secretary/administrative assistant 45%. The estimated period of performance is five (5) years. Release date of RFP on or about May 28, 1997 with proposals due on or about July 15, 1997.
