This synopsis is a notice of intent to issue a ten month extension under existing contract DASW01-95-D-0086 with Telos Systems Integration, 19886 Ashburn Road, Ashburn, VA 20147 for continued technical support services, worldwide maintenance and commercial off-the-shelf hardware and software. Service is in support of the Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS) program. Support shall be provided from the date of expiration of the current contract through 10 February 1999. This notice of intent is for informational purposes only, this is not a request for proposals. This intended action is due to unanticipated slippage in fielding equipment and services due to specific software development. A determination not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. See Numbered Note 22. (0127)
