LO&SC SYSTEMS/FACILITIES TOUR Reference the market survey for the Launch Operations & Support Contract (LO&SC) published in Section M of CBD issue no. PSA-1812 on 28 Mar 97. There will be a tour of the critical systems and related facilities under the proposed LO&SC contract on Tuesday and Wednesday, 20 and 21 May, for all interested offerors including firms looking for subcontracting opportunities. This is a one-time tour and will not be rescheduled. No private tours will be conducted. The number of representatives from each firm will be limited to two. Attendees must arrive at the South Gate Pass & Identification building at Cape Canaveral AS not later than 7:45 AM EDT to board one of three government buses. Privately-owned vehicles should be parked in the east lot along the southeast side of the building. After attendees are assigned to buses, they must remain with the same bus for both days of the tour. The tour will start promptly at 8:00 AM and break for lunch at the Cape Canaveral AS dining facility from 11:30-12:00. The tour is scheduled to end at 4:30 PM daily. Casual dress (no coats/ties) is required for climbing and walking. No dresses, skirts, high-heels, or open-toe shoes are permitted. Hard hats are required; attendees must bring their own or use a government-furnished one. Attendees must bring one of these five acceptable forms of identification: (1) any state driver's license, (2) official state identification card, (3) U.S. military identification card, (4) official passport, or (5) company identification card with photo and signature.
