Scope of work includes but is not limited to improving air and lighting quality in the Clerk of Courts space. This work includes replacement of air handling units and duct work, lay in ceiling tiles, grid, and lighting system and flooring that currently has asbestos containing vinyl floor tiles. This work also includes installation of a gravity relief damper and changing the HVAC system in this room from a constant air volume system to a variable air volume system with room sensors. The completion time for this project is 145 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Estimated cost is between $250,000 to $500,000. Specifications will be available on or about June 16, 1997. Proposals will be opened privately at the General Services Administration, Property Management Contracts Branch (5PMC-W), 230 S. Dearborn Street, Room 3324, Mail Stop 33-3, JCK Federal Building, Chicago, IL 60604-1696. Proposals are due on July 16, 1997, by 4:00 P.M.
