This project involves construction of a Navy Exchange Mini Mart in a portion of an existing warehouse, building 5 at Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia. This building is a timber structure warehouse. The area to be occupied by the Mini Mart is approximately 7,200 square feet. There are existing office areas, storage, a maintenance shop, and conference area to be removed. Existing restrooms shall be renovated. The new facility will contain the mini mart package store, stock room, office, employee lounge, and barber shop. Mechanical work shall include a central HVAC system with both heating and cooling. Plumbing shall be provided for the renovated restrooms and a sprinkler system shall be installed. Electrical work shall include providing new electric service to the area from an existing nearby transformer. Provide electrical and telephone distribution rooms with step down transformers and branch circuit panel boards. Provide new lighting, receptacles and HVAC branch circuiting, new emergency lighting, exit signs, fire alarms initiating and signaling devices, and telephone data support system. The proposed contract listed here is unrestricted and subject to the evaluation criteria contained in DFAR 2532.219-7008, entitled"NOTICE OF EVALUATION PREFERENCE FOR SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS CONCERNS". The applicable SIC code is 1541 with a size standard of $17.0M. The estimate cost range is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00.
