ONLY -- NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE***. The Naval Air Warfare Center
Aircraft Division is seeking sources and/or information on a shipboard
compatible, seawater cooled water chiller to provide chilled water for
a test bench with 339,000 BTU/hr of heat rejection. The test bench will
accept chilled water from 60 degrees F to 65 degrees F and return water
heated to 85 degrees F back to the chiller. Chilled water should be
supplied to the test stand at a minimum of 40 psi and at a flowrate not
exceeding 35 gpm. The seawater can be supplied to the chiller condenser
at a rate up to 120 gpm at a temperature of 90 degrees F. Available
power is 440 VAC 60Hz, three phase ungrounded. Chiller refrigerant
shall be R-22, or non-ozone depleting (e.g. R-134a). If available
chillers can use either R-22 or a non-ozone depleting provide
information on both systems. Provide vendor literature on the available
chiller(s) that meet above requirements. Include chiller size, weight,
operating and inrush amps, recommended refrigerant, location of access
panels for maintenance and repair, and a photo or drawing of unit(s).
Due to the limited volume of shipboard space available for a chiller,
provide information on chillers with te least envelope dimensions and
indicate if the units could be mounted horizontally and/or vertically.

GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO
THIS RFI, NOR WILL THE GOVERNMENT COMPENSATE ANY RESPONDENT FOR ANY
COSTS INCURRED IN DEVELOPING THE INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THE
