60 -- PROVIDE AND INSTALL OPTICAL TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT TO PROVIDE TV DISTRIBUTION NETWORK SOL DAHA15-97-B-0003 POC Contracting Officer, Cindy Walton, 502-564-6367 A firm fixed price contract is planned to provide and install optical transmission equipment linked by existing single mode optical fiber plant to produce a high capacity (80 channel) TV distribution network. System shall deliver a better than grade 1 RF signal (48dB CNR=Grade 1) at a minimum of + 15dBmV. Contractor shall furnish and install all necessary equipment, make all connections, balance fiber distribution network to produce optimal signal to each facility, and provide 1 year warranty on equipment, materials and workmanship after initial installation. A pre-bid site visit for prospective bidders is required and date will be provided in IFB. Packages will be available approximately 15 days after publication of announcement in the CBD.
