originally publicized in the CBD dated 05/01/97, is further clarified
as follows: The sample sticks shall be made of one of the following
metals: molybdenum, niobium, tantalum or tungsten. The sample holder
shall have a melting point significantly greater than 1800 degrees
centigrade. The furnace will be supported on existing tables, thereby
precluding any ports on the bottom plate. The bottom plate shall have
a flat surface. A support for the furnace is not required. No
temperature controller or power-supply is required. All other
