This is a sole source requirement to ISX Corporation, Arlington VA, for engineering services in support of rapid development and demonstration of advanced technology information system prototypes utilizing advanced simulation and intelligent engineering tools and methods. Efforts involve the continued development of system prototypes by incorporating functionality identified during previously conducted domain and scenario assessments and include integration of heterogeneous database access, natural language processing, human-computer interaction, planning & scheduling, visualization, and collaboration technologies to meet realistic and practical operational environment requirements. Indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee type contract with completion type task/delivery orders. Approximately 6000 manhours per year plus material/equipment, travel, per diem, and miscellaneous subcontracting. Labor categories may include manager,scientist,and intelligence systems engineers at thesenior level, intelligence systems engineer at the junior level, junior electrical/computer engineers, and domain analysts. Period of contract includes base year of twelve months with three one-year options to extend performance. Place of performance includes contractor's facility and Government sites within CONUS as directed by individual task orders. SEE Note 22. (0128)
