NETHERLANDS -- EXEMPTION 1996/10 FROM THE QUALITY REGULATIONS (RADISH) The following notification is being circulated in accordance with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif.97.182. 1. Title, number of pages and language(s) of the notified document: Exemption 1996/10 from the Quality Regulations (Radish) (2 pages, available in English). 6. Description of content: The present Order concerns an exemption from classification and designation regulations relating to the classification of radish which are laid down in the 1977 PGF Order on Quality Regulations for Fruit and Vegetables. Instead, the regulations which are included in the present Exemption Order should be complied with. The contents of this Order conform to the Exemption Order 1996/1 from the Quality Regulations (Radish) which ceased to apply on 1 January last. 7. Objective and rationale: In practice, there is still a need to classify and designate Class I radish in the way regulated in the 1996/1 Quality Regulations (Radish). The present Order aims to allow these classification and indication regulations relating to the classification of radish to remain valid until 1 July 1997. 8.
