Situational awareness (SA)has been found to be one of the most critical skills required of aviators for safe, effective flight. Given its importance in both the military and commercial arenas, it is crucial that research is conducted to provide an understanding of what SA is, how it can be measured, and how it can be enhanced. The contractor shall provide a software system which demonstrates an SA knowledge measurement tool which incorporates the use of simulation-based video as the test material. This software system will be used as input for research into training pilots to improve necessary knowledge for achieving high levels of SA in flight. (0127)
