R -- ENVIRONMENTAL, SAFETY AND SECURITY SUPPORT SOL DAAM01-97-R-0012 POC Janet Fields, 410/671-4497 and Diane Street, 410/671-2428 The Chemical Biological Defense Command (CBDCOM) intends to procure technical support in the area of environmental sciences which will assist in the execution of the chemical research, development and engineering mission. This support includes performing and providing scientific research, engineering design, fabrication services, process development, testing, plans and systems analysis, environmental monitoring and planning and data collection. It is intended that this solicitation result in an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type task order contract, with tasks awarded on a cost plus fixed fee basis. The anticipated contract period of performance is a 60 month ordering period and a 72 month period for the completion of all tasks. To be considered for award, the offeror must have a SECRET security clearance. The Request for Proposals will be available on or after 23 May 1997.
