THE INTERNET ANNOUNCEMENT, FOR SAID SOLICITATION, DATED APRIL 17, 1997, IS REPLACED AS FOLLOWS: The Federal Aviation Administration, Southwest Regional Office Headquarters, 2601 Meacham Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76137 will be soliciting offers/proposals for Management of their Mail Processing/Distribution Center that includes Mail/Messenger services, and maintaining the Supply/Directives Distribution Center and, Warehouse. The proposals will be available to pre-qualified vendors. The SIC code for this requirement is 8999. Any companies that wish to be considered for this procurement should contact the Contracting Officer not later than May 15, 1997 to receive a Screening Information Request (SIR) for pre-evaluation. All SIR's are to be returned to the Contracting Officer not later than May 30, 1997. Request for Proposals will be issued approximately June 20, 1997 to qualified offerors with proposals due approximately July 21, 1997. Qualified contractors will be required to attend a mandatory site visitprior to proposal due date (to be set at a later date). The base performance period for this requirement is October 1, 1997, through September 30, 1998, with 4-(four) 1-(one) year options to renew.
