Kennison, 617-232-9500 (5538) The VA Medical Center/Outpatient Clinics anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price contract for Project 523-024 for a contractor to provide all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment and supervision to construct a new Ambulatory Care Addition at this medical center. The building will consist of approximately 115,000 square feet with 3 floors, plus mechanical spaces, and will contain emergency and exam rooms, administrative space, operating suites and ancillary support, pre-op and recovery rooms. Work shall include demolition, structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, general construction, alterations, roads, walks, grading, landscaping, mechanical, electrical and utility systems, elevators, asbestos removal, environmental services and necessary removal of existing structures. The project is estimated between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000 with a construction period of 730 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. The SIC is 1542 and this is not a Small Business Set-Aside. There will be a charge (non-refundable) of $500.00 for one complete set of construction documents that will include drawings and specifications.
