Blanco, (504) 391-8370, Contracting Officer Provide all plant labor, materials, equipment, supervisor, transportation, and insurance necessary to install a new 24 gauge standing seam metal roof system over an existing built-up roof system as shown on the drawings. Remove and dispose of existing gravel on the built-up roof system. Remove and dispose of existing gutters, downspouts, and flashing and install new 24 gauge gutters, downspouts and flashing as shown on the drawings. Contractor must field verify location, size and number of roof vents to be extended through new roof. All items on existing roof and penetrations through existing roof will be extended, supported or otherwise reworked on or through the new roof. Contractor must field verify all penetrations, field conditions, etc. at the job site. Proposed Roof plan consist of new 24 gauge roof, and wall panels. All items indicated as new will supplied by contractor. Penetrations not shown on Proposed plan drawings but must be reworked with new flashing. Contractor is required to protect the interior of the building from rain damage during construction. All inquires concerning the technical aspects of the attached specifications must be submitted in writing either by correspondence or by telegram, and must be received at least fifteen (15) days in advance of the bid opening date in order to permit adequate time to reply to the inquiry.
