The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to procure one Piston Assembly (PN 622265-3) with an option quantity for two each Barrel (PN 622268-1). Item is approximately 15 feet long and weighs 1,500 lbs. This item will require close machining tolerances, heat treat, magnetic particle, radiographic and penetrant inspections. Inspection and acceptance shall be at source. Quality Program MIL-Q-9858A required. Delivery requirement is 180 days after date of contract award. The specification package for this procurement contains technical data subject to export controls. This information may only be released to individuals or enterprises that have been certified by the Defense Logistics Services Center (DLSC) to receive technical data subject to OPNAVINST 5510.161, in accordance with DOD Directive 5230.25 of 6 Nov 84. The certification of a U.S. contractor is evidenced by the presentation of a DD Form 2345 on which Block 7A has been checked and a certification number entered and on which Block 8 has been completed by a DLSC Official.
