WILD at (913) 239-0485 (Site Code DAKF19) The subject solicitation was originally synopsized in the CBD on April 2, 1997 and is amended as follows. It has been determined in the best interest of the government to follow the Two Step Sealed Bid process in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 14.5. Under step one, only technical proposals will be solicited (NO PRICING INFORMATION IS NEEDED IN STEP ONE). Multiple proposals will be accepted and should be detailed enough to allow government personnel to evaluate the proposal(s) and determine if it(they) meet(s) the requirement. Those offers determined to meet the requirement will then be given the opportunity to submit a sealed bid based on that particular technical offer. The government may choose to proceed with Step Two without discussions on the technical offers. It should be noted that First Article Testing and Approval will be incorporated into the contract IAW FAR Subpart 9.3. The original product description remains unchanged. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3792 which places the small business size at 500 employees. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. All previous requests for the solicitation will be maintained on the Bidders Mailing List and will receive notice of Step One when to submit their offer.
