99 -- PRE-FABRICATED STEEL STRUCTURE WITH ROOFING SOL N62755-97-Q-J004 DUE 052397 POC Joy Hirai (808) 474-6800, Contracting Officer. This procurement is set aside for small business concerns. All interested offerors may request for solicitation via telcon @ (808) 474-6800 or fax @ (808) 474-0396. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for one line item as follows: Structure with roofing shall be supplied pre-fabricated as described, pre-cut with components to include gutters and downspouts as described ready for installation in the field by others. Drawings for all dimensions and requirements provided upon request. The successful offeror shall furnish shop drawings for final review prior to final award and commencing with the pre-fabrication of the roofing system. Suppliers as part of this award shall provide a detailed material list showing quantities and description of each item provided cross referenced to the shop drawings to assist in the erection in the field by others. All milled structural steel sections shall be pre-cut to the sizes and dimensions specified. All structural steel shall comply with the architectural and structural steel notes specified. All angle clip, flat plates, brackets and other devices shown for connecting various members, sections, beams purlins or channels shall be provided pre-cut and drilled to the sizes shown and shall be provided hot dipped galvanized. Fasteners shall be hex head stainless steel with neoprene sealing washer, length and diameter as recommended by the roofing manufacturer for purlins and channels sizes shown. Closure strips shall be furnished in minimum 1 inch x 2 inch wide foam material resistant to water and ultra violet rays. Closures returning at right angles to the roofing are pre-cut to match the profile and cover the width of one sheet. Closure strips shall be provided in lengths of 1 x 2 inch closure material. All closure strips to have a butyl adhesive sealant on the top and bottom to prevent dislocation after installation. Delivery location shall be to the Navy Public Works Center Compound, Pearl Harbor.
