Kurokawa (217) 373-6748 (Site Code DACA88) USACERL requires services to conduct an archaeological site survey of 447 acres at Fort Riley, Kansas. The work shall involve systematic walk-over survey and a substantial amount of subsurface testing using shovel probes and/or postholes. Site locations shall be recorded using Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. Results of the survey shall be documented by site forms and written reports. The USACERL Contracts Office intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price purchase order. Services to be provided will be accomplished through simplified acquisition procedures, as such this procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number DACA88-97-Q-0210 will be issued on or about 30 May 1997 with a required closing date of 16 June 1997.
