proposes a sole source contract for advisory and assistance services
from Project Software and Development, Inc (PSDI) of Cambridge, Maine.
This contract will provide expert assistance to the Reclamation
Enterprise Maintenance Management System (REMMS) project staff for the
implementation, testing and modification of the REMMS system
Reclamation-wide. The key component of the REMMS system is the software
product MAXIMO Series 5 Maintenance Management software, developed,
marketed, and supported by PSDI. PSDI possesses unique capabilities to
assist Reclamation personnel in conducting final installation of the
MAXIMO software at Reclamation regional offices, area offices, and
field offices where required. The installation procedures require
interactive testing and modification processes requiring expert skill
in the MAXIMO software, as it interfaces the following software
systems: local LAN systems and local LAN based software, Reclamation
Wide Area Networks, the REMMS client database software (ORACLE7), the
Reclamation Integrated Time and Attendance System and the REMMS Data
Warehouse. The following is a detailed description of the tasks which
PSDI is being asked to perform under this contract: Provide project
management and coordination in carrying out the full implementation of
the REMMS software to include the delivery of a complete
implementation plan for all existing REMMS sites. Assist Reclamation
personnel in carrying out the full implementation of the REMMS software
to including installation, and integration, of the customized MAXIMO
software at each site with RITA and the REMMS Data Warehouse. Assist
Reclamation personnel in development, configuration, and implementation
of automated business programs integrated with REMMS including RITA I,
RITA II and IDEAS. Assist local Reclamation personnel in loading and
converting table into the REMMS system. Coordinate the full testing of
installed MAXIMO software and integrated programs such as RITA II and
IDEAS at each installation. Employ expert level trouble-shooting and
expert level problem solving techniques to resolve system operation,
performance, and functional effectiveness problems. Submit required
changes using established change process. Assist in making appropriate
changes, as software updates and revisions are scheduled. Manage
MAXIMO system software configuration control, such that revisions are
implemented in an orderly and consistent manner. This notice represents
the government's only official notice of this procurement, no written
solicitation will be issued, and is issued under provisions of FAR
5.207 and FAR 12.603. All sources responding to this synopsis shall
submit information relating to their business size status, i.e. small,
large, minority owned, woman owned, etc. The stndard identifier code
(SIC) for this acquisition is 7372. All responsible sources may submit
