The Alaska Native Medical Center, located in Anchorage, Alaska, has a requirement for the pick-up, transportation, and disposal of regulated medical waste at the Alaska Native Medical Center Campus consisting of three sites; 1) Alaska Native Medical Center, 2) Center for Disease Control, and 3) Southcentral Foundation Primary Care Clinic. The solicitation specifications will outline the minimum essentials. The contract period will be for a one-year period, with two additional one-year options. This acquisition is set-aside for American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) owned firms under the authority of the Buy Indian Act. (Public Law 61-316). In order to be considered for award, a firm must be at least 51% American Indian/Alaska Native owned and must remain AI/AN owned for the duration of the contract.
