HAZARDOUS WASTE EC/EDI VENDOR CONFERENCE The Defense Reutilization & Marketing Service (DRMS) is hosting a Hazardous Waste Contracting Electronic Commerce Electronic Data Interchange (EC EDI) Vendor Conference scheduled for 10-11 June, 1997. DRMS is "Riding the EC EDI Wave". The ECRC's will be assisting DRMS in this conference. Attendees should be of a functional level of expertise in the area of hazardous waste disposal contracts and have technical knowledge in the area of electronic commerce/electronic data interchange (EC/EDI). The conference will be conducted at the Battle Creek Federal Center. Ms. Scottie Knott, Chief, Procurement Systems and EC/EDI Team, Defense Logistics Agency, will be a keynote speaker. We will have VAN participation, exhibits and software representatives. Also, a special speaker from the EPA will discuss their EDI initiatives and a presentation from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service on the topic "The Payment Process" will be given.
