Z -- REPLACE ROOF WAREHOUSE 84, DDRE SOL SP3100-97-B-0002 DUE 070297 POC Joni Stephens, Contract Specialist, 717-770-5912 Scope of Work: Removal of mechanical and electrical equipment, secheduled for demolition. Temporary removal of mechanical and electrical equipment, as required for installation of the roofing system. Removal of roof drains, gutters and downspouts. Closing of openings in the roof deck with new gypsum concrete deck. Repairs to deteriorated cast in place gypsum concrete and tectum panel roof decks. Installation of steel framing for support of the roof deck at new and existing openings in the deck. Removal of asbestos containing flashing material. Removal of the existing roofing system (i.e. aggregate surfaced built up roof, insulation and flashings) down to the existing bituminous vaper retarder, which shall remain in place. The installation of preformed siding on the parapet walls. The installation of a new roofing system consisting of a 2 ply SBS polymer modified bitumen roofing membrane mopped to insulation mopped to existing vapor retarder. Approximate area of the roof is 2,288 squares. Sheet metal work, including but not limited to, new gutters and downspouts. Installation of new roof drains and repairs to drainage piping. The contractor installing the roofing system shall be an approved applicator of the roofing system manufacturer. The Government estimate for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
