This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the following components of the Lightweight Computer Unit (LCU): V2 Lightweight Printer components consisting of; Power Supply Kit, P/N: 52712, Processor Board Kit, P/N: 52713, Carriage Assembly Kit, P/N: 52714, Control Panel Kit, P/N: 52715. Potential quantity for each of the above is 400 each. For the V2 CD-ROM Drive components consisting of CD-ROM Drive Assembly Kit, P/N: 52716, Power Supply Kit, P/N: 52717, Fan Assembly kit, P/N: 52718. Potential quantity for each of the above is 150 each. LCU Removeable Hard Drive Disk Unit (RHDD) components consisting of; Disk Drive Assembly Kit, P/N: 52719, Sensor/Heater Assembly Kit, P/N: 52720. Potential quantity for each of the above is 500 each. Current source for these items is Litton Systems Inc., Data Systems Division, P.O. Box 919050, 10770 Waterridge Circle, San Diego, CA. 92191-9050. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items is not available from the Army. Suppliers/offerors capable of furnishing these items must so indicate by writing to Commander, CECOM, Attn: AMSEL-LC-CCS-C-TC (Czerwinski), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5000. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase orders if the supplier was a vendor to the current source or a statement from the current source demonstrating that the supplier can supply items that will be physically and functionally interchangeable at the repair part level with the items that the current source supplies for these part numbers. Successful supplier(s) may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.
