The U.S. Secret Service intends to award a contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR Part 13.602. Award will be made on a sole source basis to AAT Communications Corporation of Delware, 7400 Western Avenue, Chevy Chase, Maryland 20815. This is a firm-fixed price requirement for the following equipment: CLIN-0001, TEAC DCR Dual Drive Optical Disk Recorder (24 channels) with two (2) 1.3 Gigabyte optical disk drives, Quantity one (1) each. CLIN-0002, Network Interface Card for 4224 to interface to Windows NT ethernet Local Area Network, Quantity one (1) each. CLIN-0003, TEAC Digital Audio Card for Local Area Network personal computer, Quantity one (1) each. CLIN-0004, Rack-mountable nineteen (19") inches faceplate adapter,Quanity one (1) each. CLIN-0005, CP 100 Cassette Complier for cassette dubbing and recording from optical disk. Includes 202 MEKII dual cassette deck and 201 MRKII single deck. CLIN-0006, 1.3 gigabyte disks, Quantity ten (10) each. CLIN-0007, WWVB receiver with rack-mount kit, whip antenna, 100 foot receiver-to-antenna cable. This will be used to synchronize the time between other U.S. Secret Service recorders. The Contractor shall deliver the complete quantity: (i) F.O.B. desintation; (ii) within thirty (30) days ARO; (iii) delivery shall be made to: United States Secret Service, Office of Protective Reserach, Information Resource Management Division, Suite 1052, 1800 G Street NW, Washington DC 20223, Attention: Jeff Shouse. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at the time of Operation. The Government anticipates an award date of May 30, 1997. No solicitation is available for this acquisition.
