D -- STATISTICAL SERVICES POC Terence Lew, 202-927-0423 Customs will be awarding a purchase order to Molajo Group, Inc., Washington, D.C. for providing statistical services which include the following: identify statistical system needs to measure the adherence to classification standards and directives; establish statistical standards for sample sizes, test hypotheses and estimate and measure criteria; define statistical procedures to be followed in the implementation and testing of statistical systems and the use of data collection instruments; review, test and verify field procedures to be used in data collection; review and evaluate the effectiveness of classification systems; and assist in answering statistical inquiries of oversight agencies. The Molajo Group is uniquely qualified to perform the services under this purchase order based on their combined years of experience, initimate working knowledge and familiarity with U.S. Customs/Office of Strategic Trade classification systems and databases and level of expertise with respect to their statisticalvalid methhodological accomplishments. The Molajo Group has been providing these services to the Customs Service since the inception of the Office of Selectivity Redesign.
