Cunningham, 304-726-5047 The work consists of the demolition and removal from site of various buildings and structures. Work includes the removal and disposal of asbestos contaminated material in the form of building siding, pipe insulation, duct insulation, building insulation and asbestos underlayment of lead floors. Buildings are constructed of concrete walls and floors, concrete block, wood, steel and miscellaneous materials. Some earth moving is required for filling and drainage. In addition, various utility lines, (water, steam and air) will be required to be capped. An asbestos survey and quantitative analysis has been previously performed by a third party Industrial Hygienist firm of all buildings scheduled in this demolition project. An IH to perform on site air monitoring for NESHAP compliance will be provided by Alliant and is not a part of this solicitation. The successful firm will be required to perform monitoring for OSHA compliance. Estimate range is between $250,000 and $5000,000. Plans and Specifications willbe available on or about June 16, 1997. Bonds will be required. West Virginia Contractors License must be submitted prior to commencement of work by Contractor and all Subcontractors. $35 non-refundable fee payable to Alliant Techsystems must be submitted with written request to obtain plans and specifications.
