Y -- REMODEL CT SCANNER SUITE SOL IFB 662-63-97 DUE 070397 POC Doug Hargrove, 415.750.2066 Provide all management, supervision, expertise, labor and all other support personnel, tools, equipment, material, storage, demolition and all other material and services required to remodel a suite for a CT scanner in a hospital complex. Work will include, but not be limited to, demolition, carpentry, drywall, lead insulation, metal studs, finish floor and ceilings, mechanical, electrical, cabinetry, window installation, and other alterations of existing space for new equipment. Construction is to be completed within 120 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. Work will include all construction per drawings and specifications which will be included with the IFB. Any contract resulting from the invitation for bids will be a firm fixed price contract. A liquidated damages clause will be part of the contract. Requests for copies of the invitation for bids must be in writing and accompanied by a $50.00 nonrefundable fee in the form of a check or money order indicating the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as the payee and annotated with the IFB number (662-63-97). Requests not accompanied by the fee will not be acknowledged. Invitations will be available on or about June 2, 1997. Bids will be due on about July 3, 1997. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside; see Numbered Note 1. (0129)
