The system shall have the ability to perform automatic data acquisition, mathematical and graphical data analysis, data display of results, print data results and data storage of results. System shall have the ability to perform turn-key measurements of resistance devices at any point within the measurement range of 1 micro-ohm to 1 Gohm. Turn-key measurements represents the ability of the system, after configuration setup, to make a non-stop resistance measurement or measurement sequence of resistors at a single value without the need for manual intervention or additional laboratory equipment. A turn-key measurement result will be displayed on a CRT type monitoring device and will be storable and transferable to standard internal memory/storage devices such as RAM and floppy disc. A resistance device will be defined as any electronic device or instrument that exhibits electrical resistance when a direct current is applied to it.
