The Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) intends to procure, on a sole source basis, with U.S. CONNECT, 1430 Spring-Hill Road, Suite 600, McLean, VA. 22102 for maintenance services on the following software: 3 Citrix WinFrame V1.6 units consisting of 60 licenses each, located at Central Office, Baltimore, Maryland; 6 WinFrame V1.6 units consisting of 15 licenses each, located at the agency headquarters in Baltimore, MD. (Quantity 3), the agency office in Washington, D.C. (Quantity 2), and in the Regional Office in Atlanta, GA. (Quantity 1); 9 Citrix WinView units consisting of 15 licenses each located one per location in HCFA Regional Offices in Boston, MA, Philadelphia, PA, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, Chicago, IL, New York, NY, and Kansas City, MO. Telephone coverage by Citrix certified WinFrame/WinView technicians is required twenty-four hours per day. A telephone response must be made within 4 hours of a trouble call by HCFA. When required by HCFA, on-site responseby a certified Citrix WinFrame Technician is required within 4 hours to Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. Maintenance services are to cover all software upgrades for a period of one year starting 09/01/97. Hardware maintenance is not required. For planning purposes, the software is running on a mix of platforms consisting primarily of Dell PowrEdge servers ( single and multiple-CPU ) and Hewlett-Packard LM100/5 single-CPU servers. If no responses are received within 15 calendar days from the published date of this notice, a purchase order shall be awarded to US CONNECT. An RFQ package is not available.
