Administration is soliciting proposals to demonstrate that schools of
medicine and osteopathy in partnership with organizations in the health
care delivery system can effectively provide educational opportunities
at the undergraduate level so that medical students begin to acquire
the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes which they will need to
function in a changing health care eniviroment into the 21st century.
This is a five (5) year project. Sections 784 and 786 of the Public
Health Service Act limits funding support to schools of medicine and
osteopathy, public or private or nonprofit hospitals, or any other
public or private nonprofit entity which is capable of carrying out the
project.. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be
considered by the Agency. Solicitation will be issued on or about May
30, 1997. Closing will be on or about July 10, 1997. All request for
