This project involves necessary repairs and/or replacement of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in Bulding 1618 on Hanscom AFB, MA. The principle items of work include, but are not limited to: Sheet Metal; Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning; Refrigeration Piping; Electrical; Suspended Ceiling Installation; Structural Carpentry; Roofing; Direct Digital Controls; Earthwork; and Paving. Multiple contract line items will form the basic bid. There will be optional bid items for installation of a Johnson Controls, Inc. Network Control Unit and a Fiber Optic Hub. Acquisition of the Direct Digital Controls will be non-competitive to Johnson Controls, Inc. In addition, there will be optional bid items for as-built drawings on a Conputer Aided Design system. Work on this project will be phased. The periof of performance will be 270 calendar days. Each CLIN will have it's own Notice to Proceed. An exclusionary period will not be applied to this project. The Magnitude of Construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
