A small plot combine is required at the USDA, ARS, Grain Marketing and Production Research Center, Manhattan, KS. Shall be used to harvest wheat plots accurately without mixing plots or loss of grain sample, with plots ranging from 0.5 to 30 meters in length. Harvester shall be capable of weighing the sample at the time of harvest. Cutting width shall be 1.5m and capable of hydraulic adjustment of cutting height from 30 to 650mm. Several thousand small plots will be harvested yearly at several different locations. (0134)
