The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren VA is requesting firm, fixed price offers for one (1) 1 kilowatt amplifier with a frequency range from 100 MHZ to 1000 MHZ. The needed amplifier must have its own integral power supply giving the unit stand alone operation capability. The amplifier shall have a minimum output power continuous wave of 1000 watts over the frequency range, have automatic tuning and band switching, have input impedance of 50 ohms, and withstand a VSWR ratio of 2.0:1. The amplifier shall have output impedance of 50 ohms, and not be degraded by VSWR of 2.5:1. The amplifier shall have an automatic level control function, gain control of at least 20 dB, and power gain of at least 60 dB. The required amplifier has additional salient features listed in Section C of the Request for Proposals which is available through this announcement.
