The Navy has a sole source requirement for a minimum of 60 each and a maximum of 220 each Handheld Terminal Units(HTU's) to Litton Data Systems, Agoura Hills, California. The HTU's consist of an 80586 processor; 32 MB memory; 260 MB PCMCIA-ATA hard drive; 640 x 480 colorized display; point stick; two slotted PCMCIA; Adaptec APA-1460 SlimSCSI; Windows 95 software; ELT2500 software capable of TACO 2 for FSK, Synchronous and Asynchronous; soft carrying case; rechargeable battery accessories; and various connectors and cables to interface to communication gear. Litton has been involved in the integration, support and evaluation of the Manpack SIDS system by the Marine Corps. Delivery of the minimum quantity is due 90 days after delivery order issuance and shall be F.o.b. destination. Inspection and acceptance will be performed at NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane.
