SOL OXHSFDX-97-016 DUE 063097 POC Denise Reavis 202-273-1468 Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and expertise necessary to provide and install complete and fully operational audio and video sound systems in 14 Courtrooms, 2 Control Rooms, 1 Grand Jury Room, 1 Jury Lounge Audio System, and 2 Paging Systems in the US District Courthouse, Santa Ana, CA. The work includes but is not limited to supply/fabrication/testing and adjustment of audio and video equipment, installation of video infrastructure to include distribution, switching, control, wiring and recepticles, preparation of an operations and maintenance manual, user training, warranty maintenance, and the repair and refinishing of all surfaces damaged during the installation of the system components and cabling. Installation of portable and fixed components for the video systems is also required. A separate control room is required. The contractor shall be able to respond on-site within 24 hours of a service call during warranty period and temporarily provide equivalent replacement equipmentwhen immediate on-site repairs cannot be made. The contractor shall have calibrated test equipment of sufficient quality to permit repair and adjustment of system components to published manufacture specifications. Award will be made to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest-priced responsive bid. This is an invitation for bids, the contract will be firm-fixed price. Estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Payment and performance bonds are required. Bids will be solicited for the proposed contract on an unrestricted basis as to business size.
