The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing pharmacy technician services to the inmate population housed at the Federal Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. Services include but are not limited to: providing clerical and administrative support in the pharmacy which includes access to: order processing, stocking, PYXIS Medstation supplies, monitoring expiration dates, pharmacy record management, distribution of pharmaceutical supplies. Requirements include: a high school diploma with one year of prior experience. Consideration will be given to those individuals certified as an LPN, CNA or CMA. The contract period will include a base year, not to exceed twelve months from date of award, with four, one year option periods for renewal. This is a nonpersonal service, not to exceed 30 hours per week, and not a personnel appointment. Anticipated time of service is four (4) seven (7) hour sessions per week. Days available for service will be Monday through Friday, except Government Holidays. The anticipated issue date of solicitations is June 11, 1997, with an anticipated receipt of offers due by July 16, 1997.
