The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing mobile diagnostic radiology services to the inmate population housed at the Federal Correctional Institution, Manchester, KY. Services include but are not limited to: performing MRI's and interpreting radiographs, insuring films are done in a timely manner, complying with all JCAHO, OSHA and ACA policies regarding radiology services. Requirements include: Board Certified Radiologist, and possession of a current Kentucky license, MRI Tech must possess current A.A.R.T. Certification. The contract period will include a base year, not to exceed twelve months from date of award, with four, one year option periods for renewal. This is a nonpersonal service, not to exceed 30 hours per week, and not a personnel appointment. Anticipated time required for services is twice a month on Saturdays or Sundays, with approximately 7-10 inmates being seen per visit. The anticipated issue date of solicitations is June 11, 1997, with an anticipated receipt of offers due by July 16, 1997.
