R -- PROFESSIONAL, ADMINISTRATIVE, AND MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES SOL FCXS-T3-930004-N DUE 070197 POC Betty Lim, 703/305-9852; Anne Hasselbrack, 703/305-7504 The Government's objective through FCXS-T3-930004-N is to establish Third Party Payment System contracts under the Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Open Season Request for Proposals (RFP), allowing Government agencies, on a worldwide basis to make selected payments using third party payment instruments in lieu of cash. The MAS is in its initial year and has three vendors: Chase Manhattan Bank, Gelco Information Network, and Mellon Bank. An Open Season RFP will be issued every year of the Schedule except the last year. The contract calls for invoicing the customer(s) on a same day, 5-day, or 30 day basis. Invoicing and payment may be made by paper, by electronic means, or by a combination of both. The requirements include, but are not limited to, providing payment instruments, invoicing of cleared instruments, providing management and accounting information to agencies and storage retrieval of instruments. These services are to be performed at the contractor(s)' site(s). Small businesses are encouraged to submit proposals; however, this procurement is not set-aside for small business. The Solicitation will be issued on or about June 2, 1997, and will be closed on or about July 1, 1997. The resultant contracts will be effective through October 31, 20012.
