120mm mortar cartridges. All major components will be provided by the
Government. Major components to be assembled include a threaded steel
shell body containing approximately 6.5 lbs of Composition B high
explosive, a threaded aluminum tail-fin assembly, a threaded steel fuze
adapter, a threaded fuze, a threaded ignition cartridge containing
approximately 68 grams of propellant, four propelling charges each
containing approximately 130 grams of propellant in felted fiber
increment containers, and a polycarbonate obturating ring. Assembled
cartridges must be marked and packaged in a fiber container and a steel
overpack container. Facilities must be capable of delivering packaged
cartridges at a rate of 10,000 per month. This request is for
informational literature only at no cost to the U.S. Army. Please
