Morris (501)324-6844. The contractor shall furnish all plant, equipment, materials, and labor necessary to perform the fabricating and painting of stop logs. Each stop log is 3 feet 3 inches in height and 52 feet 6 inches in length. Each unit consist of two feet 6 feet deep welded high strengh low alloy structural steel trusses joined by vertical supports and diagonal bracing with skin plate connected to the downstream chord of the trusses. Stop logs shall be delivered to Russellville Marine Terminal at Dardanelle Lock and Dam (Highway 7 South Spur, Russellville, AR 72801 -- Navigation Mile 205.5) for the period July 1, 1997 or date of award, whichever is later, through December 31, 1997 with options to extend through December 31, 1997. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about May 28, 1997 at a cost of $5.00 for Specifications/Drawings. Charges are nonrefundable.
