X -- RENTAL OF FACILITY FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING SOL FWS1-97055 DUE 073197 POC Procurement Technician, Sandy Stevens, (503) 872-2750 or Contracting Officer, Dot Baker, (503) 231-6188 The US Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) requires the rental of a Training Facility to conduct Law Enforcement training. The Training Facility shall consist of: classrooms, restaurant/dining room, lodging, shooting range and physical fitness area. All shall be located within the same complex and walking distance of each other. The following are minimum requirements: Location in the continental US with constant mild temperatures, dry climate preferred. Located within a two hour drive from a major airport and in an area which is designated with a low cost per diem rate. The following minimum facilities are required: Classroom (one), equipped with audio/visual equipment and podium, capable of accommodating 115 people at any one time. Classrooms (two), equipped with audio/visual equipment and podium, capable of accommodating up to 50 students at any one time. Lodging: Sufficient rooms located within the training complex to accommodate 115 people. Dining Room: Located within the training complex and capable of seating 115 individuals. Minimum of three meals offered on a daily basis. Shooting Range: Minimum of two firing ranges capable of accommodating pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Length of ranges at least 50 yards and have capacity to accommodate up to 30 shooters at a time. Evaluation factors: 1) Demonstrate in writing ability to provide Training Facility and provide exact location of facility offered. 2) Furnish pamphlets, brochures and/or pictures of facility being offered. 3) Demonstrate in writing ability to meet Government training schedule and 4) Complete the schedule of costs in proposal package provided by USFWS.
