Y -- CONSTRUCT FOUR BUS SHELTERS IN HOUSING AREA AT DOVER AFB, DE SOL F07603-97-Q8038 DUE 053097 POC Luz E. Santiago, 302 677-5225 This project consists essentially of, but not limited to the following: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and all other items or services necessary to install four bus shelters in Eagle Meadows Housing Area at Dover Air Foce Base, Delawre. Each shelter is to be low maintenance, made of a light weight corrosive resistant aluminum, and shall be approximately 12' x 8'. Each shelter shall be placed on a concrete pad and consist of a structural aluminum frame with fixed windows around the perimeter, benches, and a pitched roof. The shelter shall be capable of withstanding wind forces of at least 30 pounds per square foot. Shelters shall be parallel to the road and adjacent to the existing walkways. All four locations are currently open grass areas. All trees and plants within the surrounding areas shall be preserved. This acquisition is set-aside for "Emerging Small Business" only.
