Synopsis 97-10: The work includes all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to remove all existing unreinforced masonry and replacement with reinforced masonry. All related work will include the removal of asbestos containing materials; removal of lead base paint; removal of HVAC equipment; removal of existing restroom facilities; removal of electrical light fixtures and power receptacles; removal of roofing and replacement with new asphalt shingle and built up roofing; the placement of new concrete foundations at new masonry walls; removal and replacement of existing doors and windows; and incidental related work to BLDG 204 at the Naval Warfare Assessment Division, Corona, CA by means of a firm fixed price contract. The estimated cost is between $500,000 and $1, 000,000. Performance time will be 270 days, commencing 15 calendar days after award. Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.
