The Government intends to purchase under the Simplified Acquisition procedures: NSN 4410-01-X00-2160, Hurst boiler series 45, three pass compact boiler Model S45-G-30-30W or equivalent. Horsepower: 30, Rating: 1004 MBHH, Gross output: 30 PSIG (water). Replacement boilers to be built in accordance with available specifications and the following: Boiler to be assembled with two(2) float type of low water devices (McDonnell and Miller model 63M), one auto reset and second manual reset. Low water devices are to be pre-piped and pre-wired to boiler. Fuel gas train is to be assembled, wired to boiler, and will conform to available IRI drawing. All responsible sources may submit a quotation. All quotations must be submitted in writing no later than the closing date indicated in the solicitation. The anticipated award date is 13 June 1997. Request for solicitations must be recieved in writing and may be requested via mail or fax to (619) 725-8445.
