FISC San Diego is issuing a notice of intent to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00244-97-Q-8685. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45. This is a total small business set-aside, SIC code 3826 and business size standard 500 employees applies. The item being requested is a fourteen (14) each particle counters with the following specs: the unit measures 0.5 micron particles at 1.0 CFM, offers 6 size channels with individual alarms for each size. The unit stores up to 500 data sampmles, with location labels (0-999) in its memory and performs 209 calculations. Unit has internal printer. The options include relative humidity/air temperature and air velocit sensors, high pressure diffuser and Universal Utility Software. The unit is 300 watts at 115 VAC. The following specs are a must: self-calibrating, laser light source, and readouts in counts per cubic foot. FOB destination prices required. Delivery is required by 09-15-1997, in San Diego CA.
